Young Climate Change Ambassadors

Our Young climate Change Ambassadors have been busy over the past 6 months.  They made an energy saving flyer that was delivered to 5000 homes in the area; they have been litter picking around Pitsea town centre and planting Bee Bombs all around to encourage bees and butterflies.

The group had some sessions on climate change, the effects of this all around the world and what they can do in their own homes to save energy and help combat climate change.

They made some gnomes with climate related messages on, these will be left around Pitsea for anyone to find, please remember to post a picture on social media and tag in Heart of Pitsea should you find one.

With the lighter evenings coming, the group will be going to our veggie patch to clear and plant an array of veggies, herbs and wild flowers in the area.
