Thank you Heart of Pitsea volunteers!

Heart of Pitsea wouldn’t be able to provide our projects and events without our fabulous volunteers!

So, we would like to say a huge thank you for all the hours that they give up for free to help us and ultimately everyone within our community.

We would like to thank our HoP Partnership resident members, our Chair Snoopy, Vice Chair Carole, Keith, Andy and Pete.  They attend our monthly meetings, help to create and make decisions on projects, decide how Heart of Pitsea spends its funding and help out at events including our quiz nights, summer events and the Pitsea Community Christmas event.

We have two incredible young volunteers – Ethan and Oli – who volunteer every week at our youth clubs and throughout the year at our summer events and at the Pitsea Community Event.  They also represented Heart of Pitsea at the Basildon and Pitsea Carnival and the Chalvedon Community Centre Jubilee event last year.  They are both members of the Heart of Pitsea youth forum, which manages its own budget that has provided thousands of pounds to imaginative projects for young people within our area.

Also, thanks to Elaine and Pearl who have helped us out hugely over the years and of course to our Pitsea Pots volunteers who tend the round planters to brighten up the market area.
