Funding for BOSP to help young people with disabilities

Heart of Pitsea was delighted to provide BOSP (Brighter Opportunities for Special People) with funding towards their Skills 4 Life project, based in Wat Tyler Country Park.

This new project enables local young people with disabilities to learn vital life skills to develop their confidence and independence as they transition to adulthood.

Activities can include IT, swimming, cycling, wood turning, gardening, shopping and library visits, meal planning and preparation, all which provide opportunities to learn.

The BOSP charity has been providing support to children and young people with disabilities, and their families for over 30 years.  If you would like to find out more about BOSP please visit http://www.bosp.co.uk.
